Finding the perfect dress to wear for your maternity photos or baby shower can sometimes be a challenge! I often find that my favorite maternity dresses aren’t actually “maternity” dresses at all. Look for flowy, empire waist style dresses that have some stretch and size up if needed to accommodate the bump. This way, you can still wear the dress after baby arrives!

For maternity photos, I suggest looking for a dress that is neutral in color or earthy toned. Avoid neon colors as they can cast on to the skin. Don’t be afraid of patterns, and texture photographs beautifully!
