Lifestyle photography is not about a perfectly posed portrait (although I do always try to get one good shot of everyone smiling at the camera). I guide my sessions with a laid-back, go with the flow approach. My goal is to capture your current season of life as it truly is. What do you want to remember about this time? Your new baby's chunky thigh rolls, a toddler's wispy curls, the way they hold your hand or a favorite new facial expression. I strive to showcase you and your loved ones in a natural and authentic way. With some gentle direction and prompting, I will focus on your connections with each other and the little details so that you can always look back and relive this time.
The Experience

Once you're officially booked, we'll discuss all the fun details like location options and what to wear. I'll send over a detailed session prep guide to help you get ready for your session, and am available for any and all questions you may have!
before your session
On the day of your session, I will evaluate the location and choose the best spots to give us the most flattering light. We will start with a few posed shots, and then just have fun! Don't worry if the kids aren't behaving or if we need to stop for breaks; they lead the way! I will take lots of candids and capture all of the little details so just relax and leave the rest up to me!
Session Day
You can expect your full edited photo gallery via e-mail 2-3 weeks after our session. From the gallery you can select your favorites, share and download as well as order a la carte professional quality prints and products for display in your home if desired.

At this time, simple 30 minute sessions are offered year round for baby milestones and children's portraits only. I do offer seasonal mini sessions on select dates in the spring and fall. Please join my e-mail list to be notified of dates and sign-ups as they become available!
do you offer mini sessions?
Florida weather can be extremely variable and change within minutes. I will keep an eye on the weather forecast and make the call on the day of your session if I feel the conditions will not be favorable. We will then come up with a rain plan that works for both of us.
WHAT if there's inclement weather?
I know this part can get stressful, which is why I provide a whole guide for my clients after booking which includes outfit tips, an online interactive styling service, and even some options from my client closet available to borrow!
